It was great singing in St Stephen's today. For the mass, we sang three so gs upstairs amidst all the respendent religious artifact, and the view of the mass was lovely. Next we went downstairs to the front of the church to finish the mass with Allan's 'Nunc Dimittis' which was awesome. Afterwards we sang for about 30" and it was well eeceived.

Afterwards, we changed out of our black, long sleeved clothes into more comfortable attire to start the afternoon.
Following a shoet lunch, we had a guided tour by bus of many interesting sites. The air conditioned bus was great- there's not much ac in Budapest, in general; and we enjoyed walking around Heroes Square and Castle Hill with its beautiful view of the Danube River. Our tour guide shared with us many interesting facts and I appreciate this war torn, struggling country that much more.
Later, about 40 of our group of 55 or so shared a river cruise of the Danube. Delicious food and wine combined with a guided tour of this river made it great! There's not much industry in this city yet, but there are lots if beautiful brudges and sculptured buildings that a river cruise semonstrates well.
Following a full day, I'm packed up in bed, planning to wake up early enough to pack and breakfast by departure time tomorrow. Meanwhile, Ashley has informed me she's old enough to drink in Budapest- which is true; so she and some of her new friends are currently off making a night of it. Wish me luck!
